Our Chiropractic Techniques

We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience.

The primary adjusting techniques we use include:

Cox Flexion-Distraction

We use a special table so we can traction your spine, opening up the spacing between spinal vertebrae and relieving pressure to spinal. read more»

Diversified

After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints. read more»

Torque Release

Upper Cervical

Resting comfortably on your side, we use our hands to deliver an ultra-quick thrust to the upper bones of your spine. Just as quickly we remove our hands. This energy allows the head and spinal structures to “reset” themselves. The object is to allow the wisdom of your body to reposition spinal segments with the least amount of force.

Pettibon

We use the Pettibon System because it offers research-tested adjustment procedures, involves patients in home care procedures for faster recovery and relies on X-rays for diagnosis and documenting progress.

After you perform warm up exercises, you’ll be examined to see how your spine moves. If a lack of mobility is detected, an adjustment will be given. Yet it won’t be the compressive thrusts typically associated with traditional chiropractic. Instead, we’ll gently stretch your spinal column in a way more as you would when turning or bending. We get excellent results relieving nerve compression, pain and associated neurological dysfunction.

Cold Laser Therapy

Low level laser for pain management.
